Here is a great and easy recipe. This syrup is versatile and can be customized how you like.

- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1’’ piece of ginger root

- Medium saucepan
- Spoon
- Fine mesh strainer
- Jar or container for finished syrup
Directions:
- In saucepan combine all of the ingredients except the honey, and heat on medium heat until it starts to boil.

- Remove from heat and allow to cool for 10-15 minutes.
- Pour the syrup through a strainer into a glass bowl. Use the back of a spoon to squeeze any remaining juice out and discard the berries.
- Allow the syrup to cool completely before whisking in the honey. Add the honey and stir until it dissolves.
