Our eyes are not built to block blue light, so it passes through our cornea and lens easily, reaching the retina, which contains the cells that convert light for the brain to process images.
Constant exposure to blue light over time can affect the health of retinal cells. The eyes naturally contain carotenoids, such as Lutein and Zeaxanthin. As we age, the carotenoid content in our eyes reduces, thus leaving our eyes more vulnerable to blue light exposure.
EssentialEyes provides the body with the nutritional carotenoids it needs, helping support your vision and eye health, an integral part of your nervous system, which includes your retina, macula, brain, optic nerve, cornea, and more.

Suggested use is based on an average adult weight of 150 lbs (68 kg). The dose can be adjusted for individual needs or based on weight.
Adults and children 12+: take 2 capsules twice daily for eight weeks. Take 2 capsules daily after the first eight weeks for maintenance.
Children ages 6-11: take 1 capsule twice daily for eight weeks. Take 1 capsule daily after the first eight weeks.
Pregnant and nursing women, and children under 6: consult a medical practitioner.

We encourage first-time users to take EssentialEyes® at the recommended dose of 4 capsules daily for a minimum of eight weeks to experience the best results (experienced users can take 2 daily for maintenance). Human clinical trial research results on the ingredient Lutemax 2020® were measured over an eight week time period. While results can be felt sooner, they are usually seen within 8-12 weeks and improve with continued use. Take with or without food.
