Quality Assurance

RidgeCrest Herbals Quality Assurance Declaration

RidgeCrest is dedicated to making sure we provide the highest quality products we can for our customers. We accomplish this by starting with our own facility and employees.

In-house quality staff

RidgeCrest Herbals implements applicable cGMP FDA industry-standard regulations found in 21 CFR 111, along with the specifics that apply to our products and facility found in 21 CFR 117. Our in-house Quality Unit staff hold Quality Assurance titles and certifications that support these regulations and help us adhere to high standards, including ISO 9001 Auditor certifications, FSMA PCQI Official certification, and HACCP. All RidgeCrest Quality Unit employees complete annual training and retraining to ensure they meet, understand, and follow all regulations.

Strict product specifications

RidgeCrest Herbals implements the highest standards and specifications for the quality, safety, and effectiveness of our products. These specifications include dosage, sourcing requirements, individual ingredient testing, no-pesticide requirements, finished-product testing, testing methods and descriptions, standardization references, allergen and other contaminant or unacceptable-ingredient requirements, microbial and heavy-metal limits, packaging and storage requirements, and more.

cGMP-Certified manufacturing

RidgeCrest Herbals uses cGMP-certified (NSF, UL, or equivalent) manufacturers. These manufacturers are all audited consistently by their specific GMP certification organizations, a RidgeCrest ISO 9001-certified auditor, and the FDA to ensure GMP requirements are always upheld to maximum standards.

During manufacturing, all of our products are tested at multiple stages throughout production.

All individual ingredients come from pre-qualified sources, are tested for identification and purity before production, and have individual Certificates of Analysis (COAs).

We carefully monitor finished product lines at every stage of manufacturing, verifying capsule weights, polished capsules, capsule counts, etc. Products are run through metal detectors, sealed with safety induction seals, secured with shrink-wrapped lids, and assigned an individual lot number and best-by date, which are stamped on the bottom of the bottle. Bottled products are then hand-packed into case boxes and undergo one final inspection.

Lab testing during production

Finished products are then tested again at the finished product stage by in-house manufacturer laboratories for strength and purity, which includes verifying label amounts, microbes, and/or heavy metals.

ISO-certified third-party testing

Finished products are then sent to ISO 17025-accredited laboratories for third-party testing verification. A COA (Certificate of Analysis) is provided by the manufacturer documenting all testing results. We meticulously document every step, from ingredient sourcing to boxing, in an individual Batch Record for every lot produced.

Quality-controlled storage

When the finished product arrives at our warehouse, our Quality Team conducts a final thorough inspection to verify the product is high quality, meets specifications, and matches the COA. Our in-house herbalist also evaluates each product organoleptically for taste, odor, and color and compares it with previous batches to ensure consistency and meet our highest quality standards.

100% customer satisfaction guarantee

In addition to formulating and creating the highest-standard products, RidgeCrest Herbals also offers a 100% money-back guarantee if our products do not meet customer expectations. We are transparent with finished-product COAs/test results and have an outstanding Customer Service Team that works directly with our Quality Unit. Our team is available to answer any quality-related concerns and questions that our customers may have.
